"This is my 10th presidential campaign, Lord help me. I have never before seen such a bunch of vile, desperate-to-please, shameless, embarrassing losers coagulated under a single party's banner. They are the most compelling argument I've seen against American exceptionalism."

- Joe Klein

American Embarrassment - Swampland - TIME.com

I need to agree. I was moderate before 2008, but watching these idiots compete for the spotlight during that election season then was humorous. The current crop of idiots cropping up to run in 2012 is even more pathetically like a three stooges episode then ever before. Each one tries to say even more crazy and brain damaged then the other in an attempt to, well, I'm not sure what being nuttier and stupider then the next one gets you.

Why would anyone vote these people to lead the nation?

I love it personally. Each deranged comment just gets these people fewer and fewer votes.

Do you accept the words of Joe Kein? Have you never seen him trying to do what he is trying to do here? He has done this kind of trick too many times and just because Time is part of it all doesn't make him any better than the left leaning ideologue he has been for some time. I wonder how many here will accept these words of old Joe.

"I have two grandchildren — Maggie is 11, Robert is 9," Gingrich said at Cornerstone Church here. "I am convinced that if we do not decisively win the struggle over the nature of America, by the time they're my age they will be in a secular atheist country, potentially one dominated by radical Islamists and with no understanding of what it once meant to be an American."

I imagine Newt did say those words but I know that most non-prog people accept them as very possible. Anyway, I sure do and know many here who also do.

Wait...so you think that America is going to be taken over by "Secular Atheists", which are going to turn the US into an radical Islamist country?

Do you even know the definition of words "Atheist" and "Theocracy"?

The words are mutually exclusive, not part of one and another. Anyone who knows what these words in the English language actually meant, like anyone with more brain cells then teeth (or a dictionary), would not be confused.

You're right of course but as a conservative I still find the knee-jerk defence of the most awful crimes of muslims against american citizens by american liberals/leftists/assorted marxists to be mind numbing. Please explain that one to me.

Not to fear, the Koch Brothers and Davaros (Ruppert Murdoch) have already decided who your next President will be John Kasich, they have already invested tens of millions in him
