You cannot cut the defense budget while we are fighting in 3 different countries.
First end the three wars we are fighting, bring back ALL of our soldiers and then cut to your hearts content.

Well of course. Bringing the troops home should be the MAIN thing our idiots in DC are talking about. Not 300 million in funding to Planned Parenthood, truly a drop in the bucket.

Cut it all - just pack up and leave. It's not like the people in the other countries appreciate what we are doing. It's way cheaper to defend our homeland on our own turf, than to travel halfway around the world to offensively seek out our enemy.

To seek out an enemy that often time we created. We constantly kick the hornet's nest that is the middle east and wonder why everyone hates us over there. Perhaps if we kept out noses here in our own yard people wouldn't resent us.

Paul Ryan shouldn't be taken seriously. His plan calls for cutting taxes when we simply can't afford it, it barely touches defense spending, and he voted for the medicare prescription drug act in 2003. Next please.

Agreed. Bring the troops home and stop getting into conflicts that are not only bad foreign policy, but financially irresponsible. US involvement in Libya has so far cost over half a billion dollars.

Ron Paul of course is for bringing back the troops. I believe WW2 was the last war where we were clearly in the right.

Why stop there? Paul Ryan's and the rest of idiots in DC are out for blood, they want it all, and they want to redistribute it upwards.

All for cutting $1 trillion in defense. It's called DEFENSE...what we're doing in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Libya is NOT defense. Bring the troops home and line them up on our southern border.

By the way...where is Osama Bin Laden again?

very true, lets cut out the department of education, the epa, the federal reserve, the irs, the batfe, the fbi, the dept of homeland security, and a whole slew of other departments. I could go for that. lets also kick the UN out of the USA and get the USA out of the UN. that way we the USA could stop being the policeman of the planet.
