When brains were being handed out, helpers called out "Brains Coming" .

The Republicans thought they said "rains coming" and got out of the line.

The difference between a liberal and a conservative is well-known. The conservative is a liberal who got mugged.

This is simply a correlation, not any statistical significance. Any socialigist will also tell you that a research population of only 90 and trying to prove a hypothesis with a small sample like that, is fallacious and poor research. In the end, this is a correlation, because it seems only Americans seem to be born with a larger amygdala and not Mexicans, Canadians, Europeans, etc. This study is bunk, just like global warming research, as I've only been a conservative since 2010

Both brains are the equivalent of a high school cheerleader, they chant slogans and blindly follow their team.

This thread is evidence of that fact.

liberals are better equipped to make sense of conflicting information while conservatives are better able to recognize a threat.
According to this, I should be a liberal. I am anything but.

From the way I read it (people and the political scene, not the study), liberals are idealists and have dreams of "making the the world a better place" and conservatives are the sensible ones who are grounded in reality and think it's best to just face that reality and do the best we can with what we have.

Political whores of any stripe are another matter. All they are interested in is the power, the money and the prestige.

Even more limited. Based on 90 young adults. Critical thinking indeed.

Then according to your response you must be a Conservative.

So Libertarians must be well balanced.

Reads like junk science propaganda. Conservatism is sweeping Europe (where this 'study' was performed), and liberals are panicking so this is their response, lol.

Who exactly funded this 'study'? That'll tell us all we need to know.

What a horribly vague article. It does not provide any information in regards to the design of the study or the strength of the correlation. It basically makes a statement of causality, which is never possible in a correlation study, without providing any information to support those findings.

The problem I've found on this forum is that people believe they have found support for an idea or belief if they can reference a newspaper article. Newspapers are not reliable sources; they are tainted by perception and belief, and rarely contain any information pertaining to methods and findings.

This article is no more significant than one written by my second grader.
