To get out of the great depression, war.
More debt and deficits.

We rebuilt Europe, Japan, North Africa and every nation effected by the war.

It got us out of debt and increased our deficit and unfunded liabilities, but we were working and paying taxes.

Now what. That option is not there, unless we create another world war and destroy other nations capabilities to produce.

We could easily help rebuilt Japan today to help us get out of debt and we didn't have to create a war to ruin their country. Mother Nature did that all by herself. Someone is going to make a lot of money supplying the with infrastructure materials and goods, it might as well be us.

What money... when you have to print fake money that isn't really money. Also I think you mean China funding. since that is were borrow our brillant ideas of nation building. If you want to see someone help JAPAN that would be COMPANIES!!!!!! INVESTMENT thou since we use credit instead of savings i know what will happen thanks to the FEDERAL RESERVE BANK.

I consider this something JAPAN has to do. You know with their own money. We are broke and if we werent so busy acting like the policemen of the world we might be able to assist people when it really matters.

WW2 caused Americans to suffer in spades also. Rationing, hundreds of thousands killed or maimed, 50 million dead worldwide. Untold horrors such as the Nanking rape. We want that again? Won't work anyway since China would stop us cold.
