Not a chance in hell. Democrats are not known for exceptional foresight. Further, this President is reactive, not pro-active. Given that he's been behind the curve his entire Presidency, its not possible that he contrived anything remotely related to a "birther" opponent in 2012.
I would love to see a Trump Obama debate. Unlike when the mental midget debated in the last election on this time you are sure to see fur fly as never before. I am convinced if he runs Trump will be the next Reagan.
