He copied Ron Paul?

You might want to look at results. Young people didn't turn out in significanlty higher percentages than they ever had before.

Even then the youth vote is not what won the race for Obama.

If you remember McCain/Palin were kicking arse until the economy crashed. That's why Obama won. Not because he is some kind of great campaigner.

If the economy had crashed 4 months later McCain would be president right now. Obama lucked into the presidency.

IMO Obama campaigns but doesn't do anything else...his speech this week was another campaign speech. AFA his campaigning, most promises he made last campaign were never realized. He flip-flops with his statements and his stances and can't respond to someone without a teleprompter. Each statement he makes his planned in advance. What's the point of him winning the Presidency when he has helped the country go further downhill?

Sometimes luck is manipulated.

Give a LITTLE credit for the process.

On that I agree with you. I haven't seen a single candidate that motivates me to get out of bed election day. Obama has disappointed me.

Unless something changes on election day I will be voting for the lesser of two evils.

Totally genius strategy, if you ask me.
It could be an exceptionally good strategy. On the other hand, it could also be that Obama really was born in Hawaii, so he has no reason to involve himself in all the screaming and yelling.

Besides, if you were the incumbent President, wouldn't you be salivating at the thought of an opponent whose platform is based mainly on whether you were born in a particular location or not?

is he a genius? I would give credit more to those who advise him, than to him. He was just in the right place at the right time and they started grooming him. What worked the first time around may not work this time. Many are getting a little tired of his campaigning 24/7 from 2007 until now.

As for those stupid polls, you have to be walking around with your eyes closed if you are paying any attention to a poll witha bunch of names on it or men and women that have not even announced.
