There are a lot more articles 117,000 to be exact....but you get the idea. Hopefully this is a sign that Americans aren't as dumb as I was afraid they were and even diehard former Obama fans may not vote for him again.
Obama has been just a moderate wall street republican pretty much from the beginning. He's pissed off the base quite a bit but looking at the clowns the right have, it's going to be an easy win for Obama.
This is what happens, we have no real options on either side, so I guess we have to go pick out another reality T.V. star and give Donald a run for his hair. lol At least it will be entertaining whilst we smack ourselves in the face. UG!!!!
I guess it's getting time for Jesus to show up, right?
So what can we glean from all this? Either Obama is the middle of road President that he has always claimed that he is or.... what?
Obviously if the left wing of his party is unhappy then how does one argue that he is a ultra left radical?
You can't have it both ways.
My theory is that he tries to be all things to all people, except non neo-con conservatives. The libertarians I knew who voted for him in '08 are guaranteed to not repeat that. While that's only about 1-2%, the libs make up at least 5% and I'm sure they're too principled to vote for either party. I'm sure Obama and many on CD are too arrogant to believe that would happen, and that's cool with me.

Exactly. He's suppose to be this do whatever he wants radical liberal socialist who will stop at nothing to force his ideas and polices on the country, yet despite having a huge majority in Congress, he compromised on the Bush tax cuts, didn't close Gitmo, and couldn't get a Public Option.
It's so typical. Once the right wing decides on a narrative they want to create, they all seem to get together and just stick to it no matter what, despite overwhelming evidence to the opposite.
I've literally shown right wingers the full context of the "I will stand with the Muslims..." quote from Obamas book, and they STILL just refuse to believe it. It's almost sad how delusional some people can be, and how much blind hatred they can carry.
Oh, and a tip to the next Democratic/Liberal President. ACTUALLY BE A LIBERAL. The country didn't choose a moderate. They wanted genuine change. Stop moving to the center, and stop reaching across the isle. The right doesn't care. They aren't ever going to do anything that doesn't benefit them, only...
So TRUE! They better NOT in fact. Both parties have led us astray for far too long. They are both bought and paid for by the eiltes.
However if a principled person with a PROVEN TRACK RECORD runs in one of those parties, I would vote for him or her ie Ron Paul for example.
Never underestimate the likelihood of voters picking a sub-optimal choice that they think can win over a top choice that they don't think stands a chance.
The deck is stacked against third parties. Disappointed Democrats will vote for Obama in 2012 because they don't want a President Bachmann or Palin or Romney or (God almighty, I can't believe I'm even having to type this) Trump.
And Republican voters who would have supported someone like Ron Paul won't get the chance because he'll get marginalized by the mainstream party, so they'll hold their noses and vote for whatever suboptimal choice they're given, too.
Nearly every election is an exercise in lowered expectations, and it's all due to an electoral system that favors these two cobbled-together Frankenstein's-monsters that we call parties.
