Obviously some people do because they were pressured into dropping them from the stores for a while until they saw slumping sales.

I purchased a S&W .38 and a Ruger GP100 .357 from them.

Sounds like the 'sticking' was WallyWorld sticking it to themselves

Until Wal-Mart can start selling .338 Lapua Magnum ammo, I'd continue to give my business to my local mom & pop stockist, thanks.

How about we let the retailers sell what they want to sell.

Walmart would be nutz to not sell guns! Every goofball I know is getting a license to carry a gun. It's just smart business.

Walmart STILL does not sell "Phased Plasma Rifles in a 40-watt range", so you will never catch me shopping there!

I have to concur that Wal-Mart should be allowed to see guns. One of the big reasons they stopped in California is because they were having a real hard time keep the mountain of paperwork straight. They were continually being pounded by the state BATF. They will begin selling only long guns in California similar to what you can find at Big 5 and Sports Authority.

I prefer to go thru small business and garage FFL's. With help from Internet retailer I can get guns just as cheap as Wally World transferring them through local FFL's to complete paperwork.

Plus I can get Private Party Transfers, Gunsmithing and other services not available at Wally's. They do have exceptional prices on ammo though.
