Since Osama (The Anti-Christ) is now dead, I'm pretty sure that the May 21st or Dec 21 2012 end of the world predictions are gonna happen, or at least to some degree. From the first time Osama rose to power the biblical era of tribulations began, now that he has fell its only a matter of time.
I'll be waiting when it all goes down.... with a wine cooler in my hand laying in a lawn chair.

Read up on Revelation and you will see...many of the events prior to the rise of the anti-Christ haven't yet happened.
Actually, ALL of Revelation has already been fulfilled. Revelation was written to the people of 67AD to warn them of the destruction of Jerusalem in 70AD, 1260 days later.

Just because something goes on does not mean it is over.
A culture's aesthetics reveal something about the culture. Aesthetics is one expressed form of the reason embedded in the culture. Zombie movies (the love affair with vampires, the force, werewolves, magic, etc) are a reflection of a race that is brain dead but still moving around, by will. The death of the intellect, as Hitler proclaimed, is a growing reality. In any political, religious, economic, etc, conversation (and each of these is also a rational expression of the culture) one has, the conversation immediately drops into an ideological standoff. Not a rational exploration of the notion at hand (a rational structure with connective parts).
This situation has the population at a low form of consciousness, and so for all intents and purposes, is sub human. Human still, composed of individuals, but dead headed and motivated by will not thought, except as what thought is used is captured by the will to ideology.
Under normal circumstances, a superior force (not necessarily a superior people) would come in here and rearrange things for such a group of dumb asses as this culture has become; but unfortunately, because of mass weapons and such, we as a culture can continue to exist as dead. The earth goes on, but the human life on it has ended and merely waits for something to put it out of its misery of bondage to its will. Man is supposed to live by his spirit, or mind-he is supposed to be at least a half wit. When he becomes the walking dead (the mass man hyperized) and lost the power to reason, he should become extinct.

Anybody here read the news today of the asteroid the size of an aircraft carrier [c-type 11th magnitude of brightness] YU 55... its bigger than APOPHIS that will pass between the Earth and the Moon on November 8th 2011? The estimates vary from 95,000 miles to 88,000 miles from us and will be seen at midnight on said date with the naked eye the closet approach yet in recorded history.Micho Kaku i guess is a nut job too....

That’s one interpretation, and one that is wrong. The events of Revelation lead up to the return of Jesus Christ, which has not happened yet and, thus, clearly refers to the future. The W*ore of Babylon is the Saudi royal family. She rides the beast (A beast in bible-speak is an empire) and makes the world drunk with her wine (gee, what liquid do the Saudi’s have that makes the world drunk with demand?). The beast (Islamic empire) hates the W*ore and will kill her (over throw the Saudi family). That hasn’t happened yet but with the unrest in the Middle East you see these days it could happen any moment.
More on the Beasts. In Daniel and Revelation it talks about the beasts that come forth. It refers to each empire that has ruled the middle east. The current one is the second to last one and is Rome (meaning the West in general). However, it is the final beast (empire) that one needs to be concerned with. It is also the same one that proceeded Rome and ‘suffered a seemingly fatal head wound’ A ‘head wound’ to an empire means the death of its leader. The empire that ruled before the West was the Islamic caliphate and it suffered a seemingly fatal head wound in 1924 with the elimination of the caliphate. When the caliphate is reestablished and Muslims are unified under one leader again that will herald the return of the beast that suffered the seemingly fatal head wound.
Another interesting note is that when the Bible talks about the kingdoms that follow the antichrist they are all places that are Muslim countries today.
