Just like it says. Read a great deal regarding Welfare and Public Assistance abuse. Same with Social Security disability. Unemployment extensions are unlikely to occur with the Republican Congress. What shall we see if strict budgeting comes out of D.C. in the next few months to restrict the above programs. This is a case of actions having consequences which are not expected.

Shall we see:

1. Dispossesion of families?
2. Increased crime rate
3. Reverse immigration of illegals?
4. Increased work ethic among those refusing low paying work due to the net gain from public assistance compared to working low wage employment?
5. Starvation in the streets?
6. Other.

1. More crime, thats about it.

People who are qualified for good jobs aren't gonna flip burgers till they get what they want. The banks don't care about your problems and many Americans want to look like they have a good image, meaning these crap jobs still won't be filled. People might move in with each outer but the only real downfall will be the lack in consumer spending.

A drop in the out of wedlock births especially in low income inner city black communities. We would see crowding and slums out of a Dickens's novel.

Those menial jobs that are apparently not worth getting off welfare for would all of a sudden be filled, that's what. Then America could begin righting this ship. Until then, we will be treading water, as we have been for 3 years now.

Those jobs are filled now, the only difference is the illegals would be replaced with legals.

Yes, millions of American's are underemployed, but millions more could be underemployed if they'd just agree to do so. Right now the government is propping up the underemployed all because many American's have oversized egos and too little humility. Illegals take up a good share of those jobs, but there are still jobs to had.

Probably a little bit of everything, depending on the character of the individuals affected

We already have reverse immigration because of lack of jobs. Spike in crime rates, increase in homelessness, increase in public health care costs and starvation is about it.
