Obama’s Nixonian Enemies List On Steroids - Charles Kadlec - Community of Liberty - Forbes

Quote:
President Barack Obama is reportedly about to sign an executive order that would vastly expand the power of his administration to coerce and intimidate the private sector into submission while restricting the ability of his opponents to engage in political activities.
In a nutshell, he wants a list of all private sector businesses that bid and do work on government contracts, including ANY donations to "third party" organizations.

WOW! Truly incredible the lengths this fraud will go to get re-elected.

Even Steny Hoyer is objecting to the politicizing of the bidding and awarding of government contracts.

Hoyer opposes Obama's political contribution disclosure plan - TheHill.com

Quote:
A White House plan to require federal contractors to disclose political contributions could politicize the bidding process and undermine its integrity, the second-ranking House Democrat warned Tuesday.

Minority Whip Steny Hoyer (D-Md.) said government contracts should be awarded based solely on the reputation of the company and the substance of its bid. The issue of political contributions, he said, has no place in the process.
Oh, but look here - guess who is EXEMPT?

Quote:
Critics also wonder why unions, which also negotiate contracts with the government, would be exempt from the new disclosure requirements.
Have we ever had such a corrupt and rank petty, partisan in the WH like this community "agitator" before?

If you want to do business with the government, you better be prepared to disclose these basic facts.

Except for.....unions that support the democrats.

I believe if you actually read the articles, part of this information is already disclosed, but obama goes quite a bit further with radical enemies list, trying to squelch those that are his critics.

Your link says that these disclosures are already required.

Why is this news?

Name a union that would be bidding for contracts for government projects that would be excluded from the law.

They should just fix the FEC disclosure database so that it's actually useful, instead of adding more and more disclosure requirements.

My contributions are on three separate publicly searchable databases; all of which are terrible and no one looks at anyway.

Elect a Chicago machine politician and you get Chicago machine politics. Is anyone surprised?

There are alot of embarrassed former Obama supporters who will have a chance to correct thier mistake next year.

Anyone who doesn't see this for the raw partisan political intimidation mechanism that it is suffers from cranio-rectal inversion.

That is exactly what we got, a Chicago style thug style politician. Was anyone really surprise he would not deliver, his latest feat he has gotten credit for. The rest, he gets no passing grade at all, and his illegal stance, sucks.
