[quote=nmnita;19275771]and I was probably one you are referring to: I don't think anyone said they were not important in the voting arena. I think what has been said and it has proven pretty true, with rare exception your people still in college and just out do not vote in large numbers. That isn't saying they are not important.

Can you find an example of someone on here stating the youth vote isn't important?
I was not refering to you it was a general comment from what had read on another thread.
I did not say they said they said it was unimportant I said that they said they do not vote, hence are a minoity group when it comes to voting blocks.

Wall Streeters in powerful govt. positions?
Health Care companies writing the Obamacare bill?
Guantanamo? Iraq? Afghanistan?
High gas prices, Oil companies making big profits.
Economy struggling, unemployment high, big deficits.

Barack Bush III, and you guys think he's an awesome major change from Bush II. Yeah, he has a D at the end of his name and that's all it takes when people don't think.

Quite frankly, if the right weren't equally stupid they'd be cheering Obama on. The guy is continuing Bush II's legacy without liberal opposition. It's like when Clinton pushed NAFTA through on the unions.....Bush I would never have gotten that through with an (R) at the end of his name.
That is why I am an Independent and do not believe either Party has all the answers. Now if Both major Parties would learn to met in the middle more often I would be a happy camper. We get the govenment we deserve.

When you fundamentally disagree with the direction someone is taking their Country, then yes, you do want to see them fail
Thanks Rush, but I think you have already stated that.

I agree - who really wants to see their country fundamentally changed...for the worse?

The grads may be sour, but last I checked, they weren't exactly dancing in the streets for the current crop of potential GOP candidates.

Not to worry. They'll get sweet again when someone forgives their students loans in trade for votes.

...and when has that ever happened? Definitely won't happen under the GOP watch--they're more interested in helping out the wealthy...

I see, wanting to make sure millions of Americans who have no access to health care is 'making the country worse?' Wanting to keep Medicare the way it is, that has been a savior to seniors for 50 years, for future generations is 'making the country worse?' Siding with the middle class and not the billionaires and oil companies is 'making the country worse?'

I really don't understand your thinking.
