For those who think we've left this kind of thing behind, think again.

I don't seem to recall the outrage a while back when republicans were getting death threats.

Maybe when we see the same from your side of the aisle when republicans are faced with similar rhetoric...we'll care.
The president routinely ignores the Constitution, lawful court orders and the expressed will of the people while the Obama sheep cheer in unison. Someone sends a nasty anonymous letter to a newspaper columnist and were all supposed to s**t purple apples.
If this loonatic did not send this letter just to get noticed, if this person truly means what they said. In that letter with the worse handwriting, it is scarey stuff, because today we can't be sure when these nutcases will make good on what they intend for us to know. Obviously this person is brazen if he were to act out, who knows what this scumbag would do. Without knowing who this person is, not a laughing matter.

Must be one of Palin's supporters and a devoted FOX viewer. These comments certainly sound far closer to the ideology of the GOP and tea party than anything that President Obama and his supporters stand for.
Shame on the GOP for pretending that racism no longer exists...even while practicing it.
That is a hilarious example of a particular mindset, where fanatics claim to remember the exact opposite of what actually happened. And the thing is, they really believe these false memories. They need to.
