Bill Clinton is the most popular politician in this country and guess what...he lied.
Maybe if the Republicans dropped the holier than thou attitude they would be allowed to make mistakes without getting ripped apart...then again its you guys ripping apart your own people.
And to the people thinking this is gonna be an ELECTION ISSUE...are you serious?
The same people that think the killing of bin laden will fade away in a year think this is gonna last a year?
So you think that the right in New York will let this one subside? Maybe the people the "Weenie" represents will be ready for him to return to do it again. If so they deserve anything he slams them with the next time around.
I don't believe he should resign because of the bad judgement of sending the photo, I do however believe he should finish out his term and not seek re-election because his credibility is gone. This to me was NOT a big issue when it first occured, the continuous LIE and dance is where the issue is.
Yeah I agree..first off I never liked him, I saw him on a news show and he was asked a question-he ignored the host the whole time and was a major jacka*&-the question wasn't even a bad one I think it was "are you voting for healthcare?" Anyway, he seemed like he was god's gift to democrats-so honestly, when he said his twitter account was hacked ...I was thrilled -I mean really that's the best lie he could come up with? And who was he kidding? Again I feel bad for his wife-it can't get any more humiliating and I think they have been married a year and a half?
He is human, he made a mistake in his eyes. Personally I'd respect him more if he said....
"You know what, yeah I sent those pictures. I wasn't married, and my wife knew I had done it. Some of it continued with harmless flirting after my marriage, but it wasn't illegal and thats the end of it."
That wouldn't have done it for me, since I don't find giving yourself an erection and photographing it with the intent of sending it to a young woman not your wife to qualify as "harmless flirting."
We know: Politicians lie.
We usually accept this in the context of "I'm going to lower taxes" or "I'm going to end the war" or whatnot.
A passing fib? Okay. They're human.
What makes me crazy is when a politician or ANYone goes out of their way to lie. Like "My account was hacked" or whatever on and on he went about it on Rachel Maddow, or looking right into a camera, wagging your finger, and saying "Now I want you to listen to me: I did not have sexual relations with that woman."
If you are in a corner and are confronted about whatever, have some freakin' stones.
I don't care your party or who you're sleeping with or how you're voting.
That wouldn't have done it for me, since I don't find giving yourself an erection and photographing it with the intent of sending it to a young woman not your wife to qualify as "harmless flirting."
He sent most of the pictures before his marriage, not sure about the "weiner" shot.
But thats your opinion, and if you were in New York, I would say you should exercise your voice with your vote next year.
Oh yeah here are the Hacking accusations per CNN that The Weiner was so adamant about. Keep trying to play it down liberals your guy is a piece of work and you know it.
