Its funny how politicians who have business credentials all run on this platform of "small Government." They like to reiterate the statement that they have run a business and Obama has not. I thought a business is suppose to grow, and get bigger and bigger until it can gobble up other businesses. How can they transform government with a business background when they have to in effect promise to do the opposite of what they did as businessmen?
How does a business past make you a better politician? Bush had one. We all know what disaster of a president he was.
I'm sure we can all agree on one thing, we need better politicians. Having said that the premise is professional background is a consideration as to who should be elected? Considering about 50% of Congressman are lawyers and would be an overwhelming majority of any profession represented in Congress it's quite obvious we need to get rid of lawyers. Obama is lawyer.

I think that figure for Congress is more like somewhere in the 80% range are lawyers.

Businesses often like to grow. So don't complain if a former businessman elected to Congress acts to grow the government when he promised to shrink it.
