It's not only the taxes that are an issue, the whole environmentalist/animal rights religion is misanthropic, hatred of the human race at its center. No one who buys into that stuff gets my vote. Anyone who is against any kind of pet ownership also falls into that category. So Rick Santorum is out too. Birthers are out. I tend to agree. None of the current Republican contenders look particularly good. I am leaning towards former Governor Tim Pawlenty. I think he lacks the charisma to win, but he did oppose TARP and the bailouts, plus he has executive experience. That moves him to the top of my list. Former Sen. Santorum also opposed TARP and the bailouts and does not consider anthropogenic global warming to be credible, but he lacks executive experience.
We need a President who will not reward failure and punish success, like Obama and Bush have done.
With this I think I'll vote for Mitt if he gets the nomination. All he said was that he believes it's POSSIBLE that the earth is warming (something that 1/3 of Republicans also believe)....and he said it knowing full well that he'd get slammed for it.
It's refreshing when a politician speaks his mind regardless of the consequences....especially seeing what happened to Newt after he let some truth slip out.
Anyone who buys into the conservative lie denying anthropological global warming is not smart enough to be dog catcher, much less President of the United States.
No better barometer for American stupidity than an aversion to science.
America still leads the world in something........
