Mine came in handy with it's 4-wheel drive and in avoiding those people that actually couldn't drive in the snow.

I've got a box van I purposely park as close as possible to their driver's side door.

Did it have 4 wheel steering?

4 wheel drive helps you avoid zippo..it's the guy holding the steering wheel and pushing the pedals that does the avoiding.

But, hey don't ask me I'm just a Canadian from the prairies.

I dunno; I kinda think it's worse to come out of the grocery store in 110 degree heat with a cartload of groceries, only to find some moron in a giant truck decided to park crooked 6" from my driver's door. Think I'd rather they squatted over two spaces.

The duallies I understand, and I actually see that most of them are pretty careful about how the park. It's the Tahoe and Titan drivers who can't seem to park here.

I think you make my point. That does say a lot about the driver. My guess is that you are truck owner who got their feelings hurt. Nothing personal. Don't take it out on people who innocently park in the parking lot.

I probably wouldn'tBut that 4wd was very helpful, good tires were helpful, high clearance was also helpful. Of couse, that allowed my outstanding driving skills to really shine. So yeah, thanks! I didn't need 4WS.

Yeah I get your point; however if they are double parked and the only empty spot is 400 yards away that kind of sucks.

Hmmm, I have a truck (used to use it for work, but retired now) so I'm a redneck. Also, I have a Prius, so I am by definition, not a redneck, and I bought it for very little money, so the gas savings really are "worth it", for me. . . . .so I guess either I do not exist, or I do not fit into anyone's predetermined categories. . . . . .I vote for "I don't exist". . . . . ..

I don't even have a car but if I did it'd probably right now be some econobox with decent gas mileage that says, "I'm a college student that can't afford anything nice or that guzzles gas!"
