It's like those fools at the dealership that demanded I put something down on my zero percent financing. Zero percent financing = free loan = free money. Why the flying EFF would I put money down?!!!

We finally have made "it". My son is in the Navy, so no more cost there, and my husband was driving a 95 Jeep Wrangler with 140K miles on it. I'd like to think he deserves the BMW.

So because I drive a Highlander, what does that make me?

That I'm a boring person so don't even think about breaking into my car or you will be very disappointed unless you like homemade CDs of old people music. If you are thinking about stealing my car, your friends will point at you and laugh at you for driving an "old lady" car. If the cops chase you for stealing my car, I don't expect you will escape capture seeing as how my car is not known for "going fast" even when I'm driving it trying to achieve 70MPH, the speed limit on our interstate.

I must say the TV ads for my car try to make it sound like a hippe sedan (ads embarrass me to no end) but frankly I drive it because my butt is comfortable in it on long drives, its easy for me to get in and out of it with a bad knee and my feet reach the pedals.

That's the statement I make with the car I drive.

Same here

I love my Land Rover & it's absolutely built like a tank.

It doesn't cost any more money to maintain my Disco than it did my 1988 Volvo (also a tank), parts & labor rates are comparable.

It's not great on gas but I live in an urban area 2.5 miles from work so it doesn't really matter, plus my dogs like having their own sunroof!

The only "statement" my car makes is that I'm a nerd.

Back roads and back trails
Not into many of the years 2000 + cars, but
with exception, I so much want to get a Ram, if I had the room.

Statement I'm trying to make with my cars - I can
find mine in a parking lot really easy and I like
dinosaurs

Owned a '90 Saab 900 Turbo until recently donated
Drove a '89 Jeep Cherokee until it died a tragic death in NV.

Now, have my '03 Mustang SVT Cobra, '92 Alpha Romeo Veloce, and a '95 Jaguar Vanden Plas. Once I get a car, I keep it a long time - they each have a name

I only go to car dealerships to look Actually never bought one there Always buy used from private seller.

The one car I really regret getting rid of was my
'91 Alpha Romeo Milano "O Romeo Romeo, wherefore art thou, Romeo" I just could die over it

Since my car has a bike rack on top, the statement it makes when it is parked in a crowded parking lot is, "HEY, I"M OVER HERE!"

I always thought BMW stood for "Bring Money With-Ya"
