I'm a new Linux user, and I don't see myself using Windows again on my personal computer. How can anyone fight down Linux? It's free. Users are granted freedom in computing.
All the power of 8-bits and 64K of RAM right there at your fingertips.
I started teaching programming in BASIC to high school students back in the late70s/early80s on TRS 80s that had only 3K of RAM. Stored our programs on stringy floppies - those were the days...
Do some research and apply some reason, when you find out what a Centrist mindset is, get back with me.
I'm very well aware of the political spectrum, you clearly are not a centralist.. Maybe you can sight ONE posting of your which supports GOP positions to change my mind.. JUST ONE
Lol. I do fit the whole leftist Mac user stereotype, but I don't use one to make a political statement. I use it because the accessibility is so much better than Windows. I've used a Mac as a sighted, visually impaired, blind, and deaf-blind user and never had to pay an extra dime for software. The only time I had to pay for hardware was when I got a braille display (and that's only because deaf/blind services was too slow for me otherwise they would have covered it).
Windows has yet to be able to boast about that--JAWS costs $1,000, WindowEyes sucks, and so does ZoomText--oh yeah, and Windows Magnifier is a joke. So, Apple it is. I can also use my iPhone with speech output and if I had a braille display that worked via Bluetooth instead of USB port, I could use it via braille too. I have deaf-blind friends that use the iPhone via braille and love it.
I'm not a gamer either, so Apple totally wins in my book.
Haha, so you simply willed this post into existence, then?
I thought the same thing, but maybe he uses a smart phone.
