If the Greeks don't comply with the banks extortion the threat of tanks on the streets to protect the banks has been invoked. Make no error

"Austerity" = Plundering

the Greek citizenry has the chance to reverse the plutocracy's monetary domination on a global level. Wishing them well.

You may want to take stock. The house of cards is shaking.

Line up the bankers. Count to 3. Fire.

Repeat for parliament, PM, and other officials.

Draft constitution and enact republic styled government with army in control. Do not pass socialism, do not collect social democracy.

Profit!

So, the choice is to maintain law and order...or allow the rabble to continue to vandalize, loot and murder?

You do realize that the current Socialist government of Greece is the one supporting Austerity measures that conservatives here in the US would love to see? How many times, exactly, have conservatives here championed laying off public workers and cutting funding to social programs, hm?

They're only doing it because they'll default otherwise. The railway operators would still like to make six figures in their rainbow farting unicorn world they lived in for the past couple of decades.

"The trouble with Socialism is that eventually you run out of other peoples' money."

This was a long time coming. The only true shame of it is that Greece's welfare state will take much of Europe with it. The US comes next. Then a world-wide depression.

Well Dane, seeing as how we have never agreed on anything, I suppose it has something to do with me getting outta bed this morning....

beyond that lets just say not having "the faintest idea" of something you believe is in all honest a badge of honor for anti-intellectuals like me...

peace to you none the less....

The fact of the matter is that they are still doing it, however... or at least attempting to.

Meanwhile, the centre-right party in the Opposition is opposed to it saying it won't work.

Funny how the tables turn, eh?
