"I will have as many children as God will give me"

That was the comment from a coworker who is pregnant again. She went on to tell me that her role in society was to be a Mother. She had her first baby at age 16 and has 4 already at age 23. She hopes to have a baby every year until her late 40s. She loves being pregnant and having babies!

Should a person like this be encouraged or should she be stopped? She is collecting welfare benefits and has her kids in day care. (Though she is working full time) What type of right does a women have regarding multiple babies at the tax payers expense?

God is these kids Dad ?

Hopefully your states Human Society will run a 2 for 1
special where the owner of a dog or cat who brings
it in to be spayed or neutered, gets one too....

Social irresponsibility at it worst.

Is she married?

There need to be some serious welfare reform bills to prevent things like this.

If someone wants tons of kids and can afford to pay for them ON THEIR OWN, without government help, they can do whatever they want, but when they start taking MY money to support their children, I take serious issue with it.

Not that I have opinion on this or anything!

She is married but the quality of her kids is shocking. I suspect they will all be future welfare kings and queens. Who knows.

I wonder if in our over populated world when people are talking about limiting their carbon footprints, that the best thing we can do is limit the number of children all of us have to two.

My thoughts exactly. At least the couple in Arkansas with the 17 kids is able to afford to support them.

This girl is a great example of mandatory birth control. Was she married before she had the kid at 16?

I know this is not PC, but this is why I think licenses should be required before becoming a parent. If you violate the terms, your privileges should be revoked.

I just wish God after giving her kids would continue to provide for the kids once they are born, instead of turning the job over to the taxpayers.

Everybody has to have a hobby. Hers is having children. Apparently it is not raising children or paying for raising children. Why not when welfare will pay the cost. Maybe the father(s) could be traced and made to pay the costs. IMHO this amounts to child abuse and should not be encouraged.

I suggest that the children be removed from her custody and placed with adoptive parents who will raise them for the children’s sake, not for their own addiction.

Unlimited reproduction leads to destruction. Any third world country without birth control is an example. The usual result of overpopulation is famine or worse.

"Been around the world and found
That only stupid people are breeding
The cretins cloning and feeding
And I don't even own a tv"

Harvey Danger - Flagpole Sitter

No why does this song come to mind whenever something like this comes up?
