Do you think much time or effort will be put into finding the "real" killer? It may not officially be closed, but for all intents and purposes case closed.
What I see it has the how slipperly the slopr is from governnebt approval of killing unborn to not taking serious the killing of a child by her mother. We have for years allowed what we know has abusive parnets to keept ehir children. Its the as long as it doen't threaten me ;I am Ok with it.
why don't you try a little common sense in this situation?
the defense said that the baby drowned in the anthony pool. the baby was eventually found (no thanks to the family) covered in duct tape around her little mouth in the woods not far from the house. the body was NOT turned in by a family member.
WHO DOES THAT IN AN ACCIDENT? DUH!
and of course we know that none of this is true from the jailhouse conversations with the parents, so we are starting with a lie. the jury convicts her of lying, but not murder. how nutty is that? why would she lie if she didn't commit the murder-innocent people don't need to lie.
i swear some people would have to see the actual video of the murder before they could commit to the fact that it was a murder-and, even then, there would be someone arguing that the film was doctored.
We're in the era of the 'CSI effect,' where jurors expect DNA, fingerprints, blood, all sorts of forensics. This case was weak in those areas, so all the other circumstantial evidence didn't matter. A shame.
I highly doubt it would have made a difference. I still have hope that twelve men and/or women can be found in this country who would take their duty as jurors seriously.
She's not an attractive woman. Young, yes. Slender, yes. Attractive, no.
She is to me, and I'm sure many guys on here would tell you the same.
