When she said "white girl", it stopped being color blind and became a hate crime....
As for why mobs do this, it is easier than fighting one on one... It's the coward's choice..
Its a game called Knockout. My little cousins friends were talking about it one day. They jus walk around and find someone anyone walking by themeselves and jump them until they are "knocked out" its sad and horrible.
No supervision at home, parents who don't care to raise responsible children.
If you poll the parents it would be interesting to know how many actually knew their kids were in the streets causing riots.

I would say very few. I always get a kick out of reading about arrested youth (all races) where the parents say "Oh but he's a good, quiet boy" meanwhile he had a laundry list of previous arrests.
