It is so sad to see the GOP being taken over by nut jobs and radicals.
I was speaking to a staunch republican this week and he said that the GOP is now being hijacked by radicals, racists and nut jobs.
This present debt crisis is showing America that the GOP is divided and cannot even negotiate with its own members, let alone the Democrats.
'Where the hell did this tea party come from and why" he asked me. He said to me that the debt ceiling has been raised many times before (five times under Reagan alone) without bringing the Country to defaulting.
This crisis is NOT down to Obama or even Bush...there have been huge economic problems before without America being ripped to shreds from radicals within parties.
The Country is being held to ransom by self interest groups who do NOT want change. Change would mean that the "gravy train" that is now Washington may come to an end before they get their share of the "plunder" that is up for grabs to anyone who has been voted in for the benefit of America. To them change must only happen AFTER these get rich quick narcissist get their "cut".
To try to explain to most Lawmakers what the American people want and need is like trying to make a man understand what a Woman goes through during childbirth..... They think they know what it's like but actually have absolutely no idea.
The lunatics are taking over the asylum and have decided that the GOP is the home for them.
Yes they can blame Obama for all that is wrong in America today but seem to have very very short memories of what led America to the position it is in today....... Greed and Corruption in high places.
If the present administration and opposing party cannot do what they were voted in to do... work together for the benefit of America then they should GO.
This is NOT a game and NOT an 'Elitist Club" that caters only for the wealthy and "fat Cat's"
The greatest Asset that America has are it's people and they are being treated like second rate citizens who must make sacrifices for the benefit of the rich..... so wrong on soooo many levels.
Watching the GOP being fragmented and destroyed from within is not a pretty sight but will destroy far more than it cures.
Americans phoned their Senators and Congressmen in their thousands to tell them that they DO NOT want what is going on but have still been ignored.
Has Communism finally come to the USA with the "controllers" telling America that having nothing is what they want while the Wealthy and the Lawmakers take all. Politicians will still get their pay checks, annual salary increases, Gold plated health care, tax exemptions etc etc etc, while America burns.
I really hope the GOP can reclaim their party from the "Fools on the Hill" who want it all and want it now.
The ONLY losers will be Mr. and Mrs. America....... AGAIN!
