It's no longer about the debt ceiling..it's about the debt. Time to go through the pain that we have been putting off for years and face the music. You can't give out the candy anymore. The party's over.

Step 1) google the bill
Step 2) Read the bill, its fairly short.
Step 3) edit your post to reflect the truth
Step 4) Carry on.
The bill has no chance of passing it is dead. There is no reason to debate that. The Republican party has already admitted that. Step 1 you did not get the memo.
Admit the fact that you people just don't want the debt ceiling to be raised and you don't want your representatives to vote to do it. That is all I hear from you people. So you are telling me now that you want to raise the debt ceiling. I can post literally a hundred Tpers who say they don't want the debt ceiling raised. Are you or are you not part of the t party movement ?

Why would I read an entire bill that will not pass and is virtually impossible to do. This is based on Republicans by the way. It is bad enough that I wasted my time reading your one sentence post.
The Tea Party - AKA Lunatic Fringe, AKA Economic Terrorists have been saying this all the time, but nobody was listening...least of all the Republican party. They never intended on voting to raise the debt ceiling. "That is not what they were elected to do". There intent from the very beginning is to completely wreck the economy. "Tear it down, and start from scratch". We have heard this over and over again from them, but we thought they were just postering. NO, they are in fact crazy.
THe CC&B bill is a sham. You introduce a bill that requires a Constitutional Amendment within 2 weeks of a deadline. This is not a serious bill. It is like an employer offering a person a job, but the requirement is that they have to be able to jump the grand canyon barefoot. They were never serious about wanting to raise the debt ceiling.
We need to completely cut them out of the equation and sane americans need to start working together to fix the problem not matter which side of the aisle that you are on.
As a the D-cats vote to lower us further into cellar!
I just hope enough Republicans realize what fanatics these people are and step up the efforts against them in next year's election. These people must be marginalized and stopped. They are simply dangerous.
