The United States has the largest GDP in the world and its consumption is a huge force in driving the worlds economy, that doesn't really align with the nature of a parasitic relationship.

Putin is a proponent of a failed socviet system. The american market is the biggest in the worl. That is evident i what happens when things like the deficit debate took place. Remeber that the mai difference is the US gdp is large enough to pay offf the debt while countries like Greece GDP is not. &0% comapred to 30%.The Russsina econmoy lives and dies on one thing ;oil and we see the corruption even now in the average scoviet citizens living standard.Remmeber that the soviet system failed because they couldn't even pay or feed their soldier at the end.Even now soviet soldiers can go for months without being paid.

What is it when we print money? Remember our magic green toilet paper is the international "standard". We are in effect stealing from anyone and everyone who holds or "invested" in the monopoly money. We are stealing from anyone in the international fiat money token system as well.

LOL...it doesn't really matter, with the way that we accumulate debt, our magic green toilet paper will soon be replaced by the Yuan or the Rothschild soon anyhow. And then Americans will really be in for a horrific dose of reality.

But no one wants to invest in many other coutries money especailly the Russian Rubel.Russia can't even afford to protect its own nuclear inventories and the US pays to protect much of it. Its all propoganda as usual. Many fail to actually look at just what a huge GDP we produce. In looking at the now grade one only has to look at other nations even china as to their rating. If wew do as geraqmny has and bring back governamnt spneing to past levels we will be fine. Germany rememeber cuts it spending to previous mid 90's levels. Its going to take deacdes to get the american people offf the governqamnt tit but it will get done lookig at states who started two years ago.

From your mouth to God's ears. I just see no precedent where a private central bank or a government fiat currency does not eventually devour it's host. Remember the original dollar was worth 1/20 of an ounce of gold. What is it worth now? 1/1600? How much lower can it go?

I guess that we would have to see the M3 money supply, which no one seems to be tracking or releasing for quite a few years now. Personally, I think that they do not use the M3 because the world would dump our monopoly money instantly if they had any idea how much counterfeiting we have done both physically in paper and digitally.

So Vladimer Putin is basically talking his book!

What else is new.

It's investments by some American companies that have allowed the Russian economy to grow.

Thanks for the love Vlad!

He says what the vast majority of the Russian public wants to hear. I doubt that he's right though.

Obviously garbage. If the US stopped buying the worlds products most of the world would fall into a depression worse than what the US just went through.

Well ask yourself if his point is even true?

If anything the consumer economy of the United States has helped drive growth in other parts of the world. The United Staes is still China biggest trading partner. It's AMERICAN JOBS that are being sent to other countries. The reality is that China, Japan, India, Korea and other emerging market economies ARE PRIMARILY EXPORT ECONOMIES.

Where are they exporting a significant amount of their electronic products, cars, clothes, and other items? A significant portion come right to the good ole' USA.

And as for American debt, nobody puts a gun to a foreign bank, investment firm, or central bank's head and makes then buy U.S. Treasury Bills and Bonds. They buy them because up until now they were probably the safest place in the world to put your money AND THEY GET PAID INTEREST FOR DOING SO!

The whole idea that the United Staetes somehow a parasite when so many countries are making money off our economy, taking away american jobs, and getting paid interest on our debt is so patently absurd the sugggestion insults the intelligence of the person saying it and those that believe it.

The USSR never defaulted on its debt, it only defaulted on its payments.

Russia inherited the debt of the USSR, and has paid back every single penny and ahead of schedule.

Then too, the amount owed was in the Billions, not the TRILLIONS.

That is absolutely correct, and it isn't just Russia, it's BRIC that has analyzed the total failure of US foreign and economic policies and is avoiding the mistakes the US made.

And it has that large GDP because it has $14+ TRILLION in debt, and it because it interfered in the domestic, internal, political and economic affairs of other countries for purposes of stealing the wealth and resources and oppressing the people so that they could develop and have jobs, because, well, they would be competing against the US economically.
