Some People try to argue me down that people are "born" gay. That it's not a choice. I guess they are wrong.
Well of course one person doesn't mean much. That was my first thought on this thread. But I've always been intrigued as to why it would matter if someone is born gay, or turns gay for some reason. See, I'm of the opinion that being gay or lesbian is okay. And if it really is okay, then why does it matter how a person arrived at that point? The whole argument of born gay/chose gay is irrelevant.

People like you seriously just need to stop pretending you know what you are talking about.
Sheryl Swoopes doesn't speak for me. She also doesn't have the same genes, body, or environment as me. Attempting to apply her one circumstance to all GLBT people would be like me applying the Norwegian bomber's circumstance to all Christians and/or conservatives.

Oh now its just one person(although there are plenty of examples of people who woke up one day and decided they were no longer gay)
And its not irrelevant, the whole gay marriage debate is based on the fact that you can't deny the gays the "right" to marry because they were born that way, they can't help it. Being gay is just like being black. blah blah blah.
It's all a lie! Most people are hatched. That explains the many eggshells in garbage cans. Don't believe me? Have a look inside the trash containers of your neighborhood.

Again, did you even read the article? This woman did not suddenly start liking guys, nor did she suddenly start liking girls. It's called being bisexual, and she clearly has attractions to both and has had relationships with both. This is not the same as someone who has attractions only to one sex or the other.
And no, there aren't plenty of examples of people who woke up one day and suddenly weren't gay. In fact, there aren't any examples of this. Even those strange and sad "ex-gay" folks don't make this claim.
