This is something many of them don't realize. Obama has already caught some flack on his little bus trip doing some town halls. Wait until all the crooks come home to campaign next year. Remember the dems running scared from town halls in '08. It will be twice as bad for these fools this time around. Folks are fed up. I don't think many incumbents will get re-elected. I say good on both sides. Get the bums out. They've run our country into the ground.

i think obama needs to be reminded regularly that he is president of the UNITED STATES, not the world, and most americans would really like it if he would concentrate on the issues facing americans.

ps, once again i apologize to everyone on the forum for EVER supporting hillary clinton.
I wish.

Obama has as much understanding of Americas problems as he does the centuries old tribal conflicts abroad.

Tend your own yard before looking to fix someone elses.
Mr. President believe it or not we can't save the Syrian people from themselves. Sir with all do respect learn to mind your own business.
Obama is extending the Bush war policy...

Syria has been slaughtering its own people for months. Even Saudi Arabia has come out publicly against the Syrian leadership. No one is rattling any sabers here. Obama, and the UN, and the numerous other world leaders have remonstrated with the Syrian leadership, they've pleaded with them to end the violence, they've demanded that some basic humanity be shown to the protesters, and since none of this has had an impact, they are asking for the Syrian president to step down.

But hey, don't let me stop you in your little pity party! It's great fun slamming political leaders when you ignore the actual political situation. Pity on!
Replace "Syria" with "Iraq" and then tell me if you were for the Iraq war??

I guess in your world:

asking the Syrian president to step down = slaughter Syrians

(even when it's the Syrian president slaughtering Syrians)

You realize, of course, that your world doesn't make any sense at all.

Yeah, it won't turn out anything like slaughtering Libyans.

Iraqi people were not rising up to topple Saddam Hussein when we invaded their country.

And our state reason for the war was "weapons of mass destruction".

Asking the Syrian president to step down is not a declaration of war.

So why would anybody of any intelligence replace "Syria" with "Iraq", when there is no similarity in the situations?

Weak. You've usually had much better rebuttals.

Wishful thinking at it's best. There's a river in Egypt that you're clearly a fan of.
