I think he's still seeking federal government employees to fulfill that task, but there's a lot of red tape involved. Glass is dangerous.

I say we scramble some B-52s and carpetbomb Detroit. Would get rid of the dredge of society as well as provide much needed stimulus for reconstruction.

It's destruction is almost complete, as the liberals have been carpet bombing it for decades with their wrongheaded policies.
Krugman is pleased we are now funding the teardowns of many blighted and abandoned neighborhoods.
Just think of all the demolition co.'s that have received work orders!

The only thing that will trigger enough "stimulus" to satisfy Krugman is a magnitude 12.0 earthquake centered on NYC followed by a category 10 hurricane. I doubt if we could be that lucky though...
