Abortion is slaughtering babies..this law was design to protect innocent life. A baby suffers a horrific, brutal death from cruel instruments not seen since the Inquisitions.

The life of a June Bug is better protected than human babies in this Administration.

abortion destroys a fetus not a baby. the law was struck down because it made women go through a sonogram which is totally unnecessary and subjected to a doctor telling them info they already know. the law was meant to try to make a woman feel guilty for her choice.

Thank god it got tossed out! I'm not gonna lie, Perry could probably do some good things for the economy, or at least keep it from sinking further. But because of his social stances I would probably never, ever vote for him.

I find it humorous how Republicans think a group of tissue a mm in size holds more value than an adult woman or an actual baby. You guys say how precious this tissue is, yet once it develops into a baby and is born you couldn't give two rats about it or the mother. It's important until it becomes a functioning human, GREAT LOGIC! Continue pushing for cuts to child healthcare and support! Hypocrites!

If a woman was so secure in her decision to abort, then a sonogram would not shake her. What's appears to be at issue here is that women don't want to see a sonogram because they are afraid it will shed light on the awful occurence that is about to take place. If it's out of sight and out of mind, then it must not have occurred. Or at least it will be easier to forget. Be honest with yourself. That's what it's really about.

We prefer Personal Responsibilty on the front side, not the back side. Now there's some "logic" for you to chew on for a bit.

Typical pro-life hysteria and exaggeration.

Mistakes happen, people will have sex when they aren't ready for a child whether it's financial reasons or personal reasons such as an abusive partner, drug addition, dangerous surroundings etc. It's irresponsible to bring a child into this world if you're not going to be able to provide a good and safe environment. It's better to stop it BEFORE it begins. A tiny group of cells that can be sucked out of a tiny straw is NOT a child.

Please clarify.
This law amounted to nothing more then requiring a doctor to bully and intimidate a woman into changing her mind.....and we all know it.....and we all know that is not the role of a medical professional.
