"Maybe he's not the one HE was waiting for"

I'm telling ya, fellow Dems, we're on the deck of the Titanic here. It isn't too late.

Dump Obama for a REAL Democrat.

Yes, let's get Hillary! She can do it, she's the one we've been waiting for!

I hate it when liberals eat their own.

I don't care what your political persuasion is, Maureen Dowd is a great writer. I've been reading her for three years, and she has a way with words.

That said, I have to agree with her. I always made it a point to listen to a president when he speaks, but I don't think I will this time, because it won't change anything. He'll have a speech, go to congress with it, the GOP will strike it down because they don't care about the U.S. but only about his destruction, and he'll fold. It's the same thing we've seen. He caves too easily to ruthless, horrible people who hate him and want to see him destroyed, and he isn't decisive enough.

And I have to admit, I've had FDR and Truman on the brain lately too. Why could FDR get more done with a Democratic congress than Obama did?

It would be good for our President to grow a spine soon.

There is NO WAY anyone could convince obama he is doomed. His arrogance will lead him to believe he can pull it out.

It is still too early to count him out yet. So much can happen in a year.

It would be good for the country if he did. Unfortunately, I don't see it, and as a result we'll probably get someone much worse in the oval office next year. <shudder>

Yeah right......she'll still vote for him, as many of his diehard supporters will do as well.

I'm surprised you think he still has a shot at winning next year, Sanrene. I simply don't see it.
