Chavez has explicitly stated that the US and Canada (because f--k Canada, serves them right for sharing a landmass with the US) to be his enemy and he has frequently tried to ally himself with nations and terrorist groups (like FARC) that are hostile towards the US.
As for Iran, there was that whole hostage crisis thing a while back. Oh, and the Iranian government repeatedly makes statements declaring that the US is an enemy of Iran.

Agree on Cuban Missle crisis but Venezuela and Iran have done nothing to the US. There was no issue with Iran when they used nerve gas on Iraq, but since we can no longer control them they are our enemy.
