Has anyone heard of this? Claims to be another government sponsored cell phone program. I'm familiar with SafeLink but I can't seem to find any information at all on this one. Caught my eye in an advertisement on one of my sites.

Awesome more freebies at our expense.

Liberals gotta have some way to communicate with their biggest voting block.

I can just imagine all the drug and gang communication going on at Taxpayer expense.

****ing idiots.

Never heard of them before, either...

Only available in three states: Arkansas, Louisiana, Maryland

Explains why I haven't.

Quote:
BUDGET MOBILE Service is funded by the Universal Service Fund Lifeline program and administered by the Universal Service Administrative Company. In order to qualify for enrollment in the BUDGET MOBILE Program, a person must meet certain eligibility requirements set by each state where the BUDGET MOBILE Program is offered.
So it's basically the same thing as SafeLink.

They're dropping a ton on advertisement too. My CPC for cell phone related ads is usually at least $2 and these are popping up left and right on my ad units.

Here goes another one - TerraCom

I'm starting to think these are being contracted out to private companies. The first site looks like it's owned by a private company.
