If those countries so far privileged resist, the rest of the world should simply unite and leave the respective organizations and found new organizations instead, that eventually will cover the majority of mankind due to demographics.

Yes, it is outdated. The best move the USA and a few other countries could make is to withdraw.

They don't,the nation would have one vote...

If you want to use population as the decider, then China and India should have way more power than the USA.

Exactly, why should a nation of 100,000 have the same vote as a nation of 1.4 Billion?

Do you actually think I was giving an example of 1.4 Billion votes?.....LOL

I don't want to use population as the decider.

And now the neanderthal vote chimes in.

Eliminate the UN. Build more weapons. Use the US military to solve problems.

Because it is a vote by nation, not population.

No,I didn't.I do think you want the USA to have more say then other nations for some reason.

Then why did you bring it up at all?
If the population of the nation is not the decider, then it matters little what the population is...

WHY should the USA have more say than Guatemala?
Or Peru?
Or Canada?

In an organisation of nations, all nations should be equal, there shouldn't be 'special nations' who get more power.

Because that means those nations would control what happens.

As opposed to what we currently do?
Hmmmmm Build more weapons and allow the UN to dictate the use of our Military?
Seriously go on a few UN missions let me know how it worked out for you. I don't know a vet that has pulled UN duty that has a good thing to say about it.
The UN is a bunch pompous elitists whose sole purpose is to justify there own existence.
The UN is a brilliant idea that is failing due to the greed of man.

Basically there is a similar situation within the US and other federal countries such as Germany. The various states differ a lot in terms of population size, economic weight, etc., but how is that to be reflected in a fair way when sending delegates to a federal institution such as parlament

In the US some states such as California and New York have many more representatives than small states, and thus more weight.

You're lost. Re read the thread. I reject representation based only on population or 1 country 1 vote....I favor a mixture of the two with an expanded security council and a veto override.
