Do you have an answer to the question, or will you ignore it and babble on with more nonsense?
You don't understand PG..Madoff was the sacrificial lamb.
Wall Street exploded and the masses were mad. Madoff got caught with his pants down and all anger was directed at him. Headlines for weeks on end..remember ?

It's been 3 years (longer if you go back to 2007) and none are behind bars and no one in any government agency has been fired or accused of criminal actions (SEC busy watching porn instead of auditing books anyone ?)

Not even close. Madoff STOLE peoples money, he LIED about the returns. Wall Street, which did NOT cause the collapse, only worked and followed the rules established by the government, which is why you will not find any of them being prosecuted. GOVERNMENT failed, not Wall Street.

Well of course we all know Madoff didn't cause the collapse but he was in the right spot at the right time so he went to jail.

End of story. Wall Street goes back to BAU. SEC goes back to BAU.
Just have to quiet down a few AG's and this will all go away.

It'll go away because there was no crime. Following the standards put into place by the government to flip a mortgage isnt a crime, which is why the OP cant list the crime. THERE IS NONE.

Oh yes, the plight of poor honest Wall St banksters, they were only following orders! Please. Save it, they were following the rules that they bought off corrupt politicians to implement in the first place! Wall St didn't cause the financial collapse on their own, they tag teamed quite effectively with our weak inept idiots in Washington to destroy the country. It's all one big game for them, they buy the politicians, the politicians write the rules, and both make off like bandits after their little game goes bust. It's ignorant to just blame Wall St, but it's equally as ignorant to only blame the "big bad" government.

Wall street sold mortgages to the government did they not? If someone comes to you and offers to pay you $5,000 to drive a car across the road to your neighbors house, will you do it? If your neighbor then takes that car and drives down the road doing 90, wrecking and dies, is it YOUR fault? I think not. You are perfectly fine to blame the paper pushers but that doesnt make you correct. Those that set failed standards for the paper to be pushed are to blame.

For whatever it's worth, I signed the petition. It would be somewhat satisfying to see at least one bankster sitting in jail.
Id pay 50k in cash to see Jaime Dimon in prison on Riker's Island...hey a new film idea there
