The media has abandoned its role as government watchdog and thus has let freedom wither on the vine of misinformation and direct messages.

The loss of the media as governemt watchdog is the greatest travesty the country has ever endured.
very well said!

i repped you for this one. it is true that the lame stream media has gotten fully in bed with the democrats these days, and they are not doing their jobs anymore. fox is the only organization taking on the democrats, and the republicans by the way, and at least trying to do their jobs properly.

Poor things. They just can't make up their little minds. Entertainment? News? Which is it? Of course when you consider most of them get their 'news' from Maher and Letterman, well.......

I don't trust Fox, CNN or MSNBC. Even BBC has a slant, but it is less so than our own media sources.

Which explains how he is holding up in the polls. The sad thing is that some people want to vote with the winner and these bias polls will influence the outcome of the election. I would like a ban on all polls until the election and let the people choose for themselves for once. But we live in a free country.

When will people learn to think for themselves? Have people ever thought for themselves?

Many news channels are informative and entertaining, so it's possible to be both.

Not for awhile now, unfortunately

As far as your points about the polls, I agree. They are usually partisan and are used to sway the opinions of the easily led

Ain't that the truth; If you post something from an independent news site with real journalists - it is mocked & ridiculed for some stupid reason to deflect the actual issue. DECEPTION of the masses!! All bought & paid for by George Soros & company of the elite to shape our world into their perversions.

Obama is their bought & paid for PUPPET!

The truth is, the GOP has put forward a bunch of complete fools. Romney and Huntman seem a bit better, it seems pretty clear who Romney is working for. Maybe most citizens believe Obama is more likely to govern for them.

They would be right.

The fact that the Solyndra scandal is being completely ignored by them shows how serious their bias is.
If main stream media is not to be believed or trusted then where do you suggest average people turn to get credible unbiased news coverage?

No, they would be idiots

Proof that Americans are dumber than ever

This country used to elect presidents like Eisenhower, Kennedy, Truman, Reagan etc.

The choices for both sides for, what, the last 4 elections have been complete garbage..... and because of the media, the people fall for it

The country has progressively fallen behind BECAUSE of ignorance which allows the garbage to get into office
