You realize the drugs that Mexicans are killing each other for control of are heading for the U.S., correct? If we would just change our drug policies, we would help both ourselves and the Mexicans, but we're too pigheaded or regressive or whatever. The issue here is largely U.S. demand.

Maybe when we finally have a President that does not kiss the hispanics butt, we need someone tougher with immigration, sorry but we do.

We need someone that is going to protect our borders, not make it easy for illegals, and drug cartels to have their way with us.

We need a person in offiice, who tells us how he is going to secure our borders, not make every excuse in the book, why we shouldn't.
Aren't many of you tired of this crap.

This is NOT news folks. Austin TX has been a major hub for drugs and cartels for some time now.

You got 14 and 15 year olds showing up at school wearing "their colors"..although not for long.

Article..dated 4/2010. The cartels are out in the suburbs of Austin now among the middle class in the nice, pristine subdivisions.

Cartels use Austin as a drug hub, officials say
"The houses stretched from Pflugerville to Manor to South Austin, many tucked in middle-class neighborhoods along quiet streets.
When officials started investigating suspects linked to Mexico's notorious Gulf cartel months ago, they soon learned that some of the dozen homes they raided were being used as small distribution centers, where drug traffickers broke large quantities of cocaine into smaller shipments to be funneled to sites north and east."

They are actually worse and more powerful than the Columbian cartel that had south Florida in a stranglehold in the late 80's.

Where have you been ? They already are by the truckloads into Texas.
Can't speak of the other states. You got 18 wheelers full of "immigrants" being stopped on the roads.

Bring troops home and use them to secure the borders while we end Prohibition in America! Then invade if we must. It's been out of control and it's not the border states war to fight alone.
Invade them for what? Americans are the ones consuming the drugs. It's basic supply and demand. It gets old to keep seeing people blame this problem exclusively on Mexico. If anything, their country is getting the raped by these cartels, murdering whomever gets in the way, including many innocent people. Mexico cannot solve this problem on its own, when the cartels have their biggest customer right across the Rio Grande.

No, Arizona is fighting all illegals, not just those that are in the drug trade. And they're getting sued because they're writing sh*tty laws to do it.
