All the government give away to the phoney companies are source of funds for Obama and the democrats, all at tax payer's expense. We all should work together to throw this guy and all demoncrps out in 2012 election. I would rather prefer impeachment of this dangerous person in the WH. All the protests and agitations going on around the country have been planned well ahead by Obama, his thugs and unions leaders. Unfortunately the clueless students have been incited to join in the protest.
How is it that this company failing is an indictment of a multi-billion dollar program, yet we overlook the billions upon billions upon billions of dollars that get wasted every year funneling money to defense contractors to pay them to build stuff the military neither needs nor wants?
Also, how is Solyndra a "phoney" company? Their idea may not have been very good (the device was too complicated, and so they couldn't get the manufacturing cost down enough), but they were some fly by night scam.
Why don't you turn down the paranoia and conspiracy theorizing a bit and take a look at where money is actually being wasted and who it's benefiting?
If Obama really wants to create jobs and invest our nation's money into an energy program that works, he should consider eliminating his "green jobs" bs and reinvest that money into developing our massive oilfields. It's a proven fact that through hydraulic fracturing technology, we have more oil in the USA than even Saudi Arabia, yet Obama is trying to beef up imports of Brazilian and Middle Eastern oil, while killing off our offshore drilling, and attempting to shut down our land operations...What the hell is this guy trying to do to us??? He's trading guaranteed USA energy independence, cheap gas, and hundreds of thousands of high paying, high tax revenue generating jobs for pie in the sky garbage like Solyndra??? There's no cure for this type of idiocy. Put this man out of the white House and back on the streets where he belongs.
