And all those on this message board who complain about "Obama's wars" would have been McCain's biggest cheerleaders.

We dodged such a huge bullet by not having McCain and that idiot from Alaska leading this country.

Lipstick and Dipstick....what? you didn't trust them with their fingers on the button?

Totally aside from all the military and agenda-related implications...you have brought up an interesting point. Why must "NATO" stand in as a cover for "United States?"

Scary enough that I am holding my nose and suppporting President Obama.

The only Republican I am listening to is Buddy Roemer of Louisiana.

In 2003, Nobel Laureate Richard E. Smalley identified war as the sixth (of ten) biggest problems facing the society of mankind for the next fifty years.[3] In the 1832 treatise "On War", Prussian military general and theoretician Carl Von Clausewitz defined war as follows: "War is thus an act of force to compel our enemy to do our will."

When did Syria become an enemy of the US?

The sad thing is that Vietnam is still a communist country and Iraq will roll back to the way it was before the US "helped" them, Afghanistan will roll back to the way it was when the US pulls out - and who knows when that will be - and Pakistan, who the US gives aid to, continues to be a breeding ground for terrorists right under the nose of the US.

The next 50 years. That is a very scarey prediction.

I agree with McCain. NATO is basically finished in Libya, so let's move on to Syria. How many thousands of protesters have the Syrian government killed for standing up for their basic human rights?

john mccain is a great war hero and a good man. he is also a wounded POW bent on settling a score. that is why i did not support him for president. the failed attempt of converting the mideast to democracy is nothing more than the old crusades under a new banner. they went broke doing it then, we are broke doing it now. stop it.
too many people in washington see the american tax payer like this.

They couldn't be any worse than BooBoo and Bozo have been. Maybe as bad, but not worse.
