Would it kill someone here to realize we don't all fit into this right wing left
wing crap you all love to throw around. I vote Republican 45% of the time 3rd

party the other 55%. I am against homosexual marriage if the states ban it

and I am for marijuana being legal I am for ending the fed and I am against all

the wars we are in and I am against our "intervention" in any other country

unless we are attacked first.I am not a freaking right winger or a left

winger I am just me! There are more here who are not left nor right so just stop and think before screaming these stupid things.

Please try using a little bit of common sense when typing these

things.
Sorry its spaced out it was hard to read all jumbled up together.

Sounds like you're pretty much in the Ron Paul camp?

You'd be considered very fringe right wing in any country other than America.

To a certain extent yes. I will vote for him if given the chance but he is not what I want 100%. Some of my other views would shock people really hard.

Really? I figured I would be considered extreme here.

I think it is mostly over the fiscal issues.
Do we pay bills, live with a budget or give the farm away and collapse the country?
I think these days that is the right/left divide.

America's a very right-wing country in terms of political views which are considered acceptable.

Not hard to read at all. Giant blocks of text without any blank lines are the hard ones.

You sound like you are an ISSUE oriented person. The problem today is the 'system' is oriented to something called an 'ideology' which states that if you believe a it follows that you support b and c and d and e and oppose f g and h and pretty much ignore i j and k. You see it all the time in posts, the *assumption* that one view translates to another and ends up in a rant about it.

I would describe myself as mostly purple with a lot of blue and some strong red and blue streaks. And I also apply reality checks. Ask yourself 'In a perfect world' about an issue. That's pure ideology. And then look at the issue in terms of how reality works and how it may not quite work the same.

I notice a lot of people are urged to support Ron Paul based on some one issue, on the assumption you support all of them. I think he's very right on the TSA, but way off my views on most of the rest.

I think it would be a whole lot better world if we had more concern for issues over politics and character assination.

The problem is that, for many posters on this board, the concept that person does not belong to a particular "camp" (such as "liberal" or "conservative") is very confusing to them. It makes it harder for them to dismiss someone with a differing opinion if they cannot simply refer to the person as one of "them".
