Stop complaining and do something about it

1. Pull your money out of the stock market. The 1% gets most of the their income from capital gains selling stocks.

2. Stop taking out loans to buy expensive cars or other big ticket items. Taking out loans enriches the banks and their billionaire CEOs.

3. Stop using credit cards. Same as (2) No interest from credit cards means less money for banks. Only buy what you can pay for in cash.

4. Stop going to expensive private universities. There are a lot of very affordable schools that provide a top notch education and you won't be $200,000 in debt when you graduate.

The OWS crowd are always complaining that the current system keeps the rich rich and the poor poor. Well, these are a few of the steps you can take to stop it.

Exactly. Add that is why I see the OWS crowd as a bunch of whiners.

pulling your money out of the market won't solve anything.

that won't either, as long as the easy money environment for banks and corporations is still there.

or you could just pay off the balance, and use the rewards, like smart people do.

even public universities with in-state tuition are too expensive. easy money in student loans drives up costs, and this benefits the banks.

None of those steps would be effective, in my opinion. That is, unless your goal is to become poorer while dollar denominated wealth continues to grow.
