When people say the top 1%, it has NOTHING to do with annual income. It is overall wealth. Some people on the top 1% don't even have an annual income, but they have hoards upon hoards of money and are able to throw Millions at campaigns and causes without feeling any effects of it. These are the people that are controlling our government, not some Doctor making $150,000/Year.
