All of us are just sitting around, for lack of a better plan. At least their plan is sitting around for a reason. We're just the commentators.
I vote in elections. I participate in ballot initiative and petition drives. I write my representatives. I make my opinions heard on numerous blogs, message boards, and I write letters to the editor of many major newspapers. Sorry, but I do more than just sit around, at home or at a park!

Yes - Zuccotti served on the National REPUBLICAN COngressional Campaign COmmittee, and on a Biden Campaign COmmittee. They have given money to both Dem & Repub candidates.

Unfortunately, that is the equivalent of "sitting around". What you're doing will accomplish nothing at the federal level.

You might be able to force your local convenience store to put in a handicapped ramp or something, but nothing will result from those actions at the federal level.

In fact, as of this writing I am waiting for a petition to repeal the California Dream Act to be distributed which I will then ask people to sign.

Actually, I have voted before. And many of the things and people I have voted for passed and got into office. And many of the legislation I have written my reps about have been passed.
