It seems that this guy got so mad when McDonald's employees wouldn't give him free food that he ripped a credit card reader off the wall and threw it at them. Surely those people don't act like that.

And it's getting real cold out there. The wind comes off the Atlantic, up NY harbor and seems to come at you from every direction. It's misery out there right now.

Have you seen that the OWS people have erected 7 huge tents with one to take care of medical problems, one for same sex people to sleep in and the rest for women to sleep in so it will be easier to cut down on the rapes committed by residents of the park. I guess they are finding some ways to spend the $500,000 they have been donated.

Really I wonder who is footing the bill for the large tents. Do you suppose they can sleep warmer in those large tents than in single person tents?

Yes, I remember ions ago, walking on Broadway between Park Row and Wall St in January. There was always a severe wind chill factor in play. BRRRRR! Hope those idiots are prepared. There will be many cases of frostbite.
Most of them are college kids paying thousands of dollars for semester courses. They haven't attended for a month. Are they expecting passing grades merely because they are OWS attendees?

It may be interesting to see what happens there tonight. I remember how cold those east coast cities used to get in winter. I was colder in the Boston area at 28 degrees than ever back out here in the sticks. It was the humidity, I think.

They are paying? Highly unlikely. More like mommy and daddy or they have taken out college loans that they have no intention of paying off. It's always easier to p**s away someone elses money. They think they should get it for free - like everything else.

"Peaceable assembly" does not extend to TRESPASS on other people's property or their rights.
"Peaceable assembly" that does, ceases to have immunity.

Default this and more....media hires former Dizney imaginaires to counter Wall St Pros bad behavior

But, but, but.....there was a racist sign seen once at a Tparty rally.

Its the old PLO /Israel math of equivalence taking hold by the media. 'One of their's for a thousand of ours.'

Larger tents can be heated, they even make them that come with stoves. Even possible with smaller tents, we used to have small oil lamps that produced a flame about the size of a candle for this purpose that hung from the middle of the tent. They helped with the moisture and did provide a little heat, everything helps when it's 0 out. If you have the right equipment staying warm in 20 or 30 degree weather is cake walk, if I knew it wasn't going to snow I used to sleep out with just a ridgerest and sleeping bag in temps like that. the only thing that really sucked was putting on your boots.
