It's all in context Memphis1979. The protesters with tents have intentions. Although I do think raiding in the middle of the night was wrong.
They should have given them an ultimatum with a date and time.
NYPD has been waffling back an forth (thanks to the mayor) on clearing the camp, then leaving it alone, then taking equipment, then leaving it alone and now raiding it and clearing it themselves.
Other cities are getting their camps cleared as well.
I wonder if some more "phone calls" were made to mayors ?
They did. They've been passing out leaflets for a couple days now, telling them they have to go.

I did hear someone the other day say something interesting. When was the last time we had massive protests? The 60's and 70's really.
No massive, ground up, large percentage of the population has protested in almost 40 years.
People forgot how, this is part of the learning process. (someone please don't mention the TEA party, they were mostly organized by Republicans, and all and all a small percentage of them protested)
The Spin? You mean the documented video evidence of charges of rape, the vandalism, the drug overdoses, the assaults, the shootings, the attacks on police, the defecating/urinating, the murders and last but not least, that incessant, ridiculous echo chamber chanting?
This bowel movement can in NO WAY be characterized as "massive", by any stretch of the imagination.
Hours later, the National Lawyers Guild obtained a court order allowing the protesters to return with their tents to the park, where they have camped for two months. The guild said the injunction prevents the city from enforcing park rules on the protesters who are now looking for squatters rights, despite park rules banning camping overnight.
why the hell you lying, the court said the mayor's decision to boot out the OWS losers was correct, it's just the city was generous enough to let them back in.

Since they can no longer camp out, is the movement's name changed from occupation of Wall Street to visitation of Wall Street?
Lets see how receptive NYC's citizens will be having their morning commute disrupted on Thursday.

They'll still accomplish a lot more than the Tea Party. OWS won't allow themselves to get co-opted by the establishment like the Tea Party did.
