Actually most of the gun laws were ruled unconstitutional in 2007

I guess in the same way that strict laws against murder in ... oh, pretty much anywhere ... don't eliminate murder...

[but then, you knew it was a strawman to suggest that anyone expects prohibitory laws will eliminate any prohibited activity]

So then most gun control laws are about as useful in stopping gun crimes as a pile of straw?

If anything strict gun control laws increase gun crime because the criminals realize most of their potential victims are disarmed by the law. Strict gun control increases gun crime.

Since they know who shot at the White House, some Hispanic guy, why do they know it? What aren't they telling us about him? Bet you they never "officially" catch him. Why does someone with a domestic violence record and drug charges shoot at the White House? You know, just because you beat your wife or kids doesn't mean you attempt political violence. Is he illegal? Has he been released several times and they don't want us to know. Is any reporter asking or is it too PC an issue?

I wonder how long it will take for one of our opportunistic politicians to use this as an excuse to bleat for more gun control.

Because DC has roads on which people from Idaho, like the suspect they are looking for, can drive into and around the city on.

Maybe they should check to see if that AK-47 was part of the weapons lost during the "exchange". He could be part of the cartel from the recent program "Fast and Furious", sponsored by Eric Holder.
