I think a 2 month Army boot camp would benefit the youth in today's country.Install some discipline at a young age and benefit the country as a whole. After the 2 months they can join the military or go back to civilian life. It would especially help those in an impoverished lifestyle from getting them out of the hood and out of a destructive path.Give them opportunities that they didn't know they had.I'm sure it would cost a lot of money to operate and I know it would never happen, but I think it would help so many people.Anyways it's just hypothetical, but a great idea.

Wasn't this country founded on the principles of freedom and liberty? Doesn't the Constitution say and protect them? Wouldn't that violate those principles?

Then our ownership by the state will be complete.
Maybe we can bring the draft back as well, as many adults lack obedience to the government too.

Wow, is Rahm-baby posting at CD?!!

No, no "Civilian Security Force" as big, well funded or powerful as our military forces! No four months of boot camp for our youth, I think was Rahm's number. *gotta find the youtube of him speaking about this.

No "involuntary Servitude," remember?! Somebody remind the Subversives in the White House, and Chicago, okay?

It would be a tragedy if this was ever implemented... complete infringement of personal liberty

Just get the Nanny state out of people's lives and allow parents and schools to discipline children (no abuse) without having CPS called.

Nope. It's an awful idea. How about we let 18 year olds decide what THEY want to do when they're full grown adults? This is the United States, you know.

Unfortunately you can't force discipline. If a kid doesn't have it by 18, it is unlikely they ever will.

Well I am in agreement that everyone should have to serve in the military, I disagree with what you are suggesting. It is not practical, is costly, and serves not useful purpose.
