Stereotype? Take yourself to the FBI site and get back to us.

I moved from NYC and I thought all "bad" neighborhoods were black...but I have been in the worst white areas here in Florida (parts of Tampa and Holiday Florida) that make me yearn for parts of Queens that I thought were bad!!!!It's not a race issue it's a poverty issue!!!

The same reason why Bill Cosby was demonized while Sharpton is a hero.

People like yourself don't get it and probably never will
Cosby was demonized by who?

Not that he has anything to do with this topic.

I probably should have said Tyrone.
Tyrone? Same thing.

You sure you're black?

I know many highly cultured blacks who are good parents and are focused on bettering their community.... unfortunatately.... they are drowned out by the racist thug types like Kayne, Jay Z, Little Wayne etc. who care nothing about anything except the dollar even if it destroys the black culture.

The media seems to love these types of trash and try and divide us on race
Racist thug types like Kanye, Jay Z and Lil Wayne? Thugs?

Wow. Amazing.

This is why i say that it's senseless to argue with people about this stuff.

Many were critical of Cosby when he spoke out against rap music and slang (ebonics)...I know after he asked Wanda Skyetes if she was "speaking english"on a live award show he took some heat. But Cosby in my book is a huge hypocrite when his own private life was revealed!

As an aside- don't the tough neighborhoods in FL seem worse with all the sun and palm trees, always creeped me out whenever I had to go to some of my friend's homes.

Cosby was demonized by most of the black community. See Michael Eric Dyson: Michael Eric Dyson

That is pretty much a justification of the response the black community gave Cosby when he stood up and told the truth about the things that need to change within our culture.

Just because you're a hypocrite doesn't make what you say less true, it just takes away your moral authority.
