Why are people afraid to admit that black neighborhoods are more dangerous than non black neighborhoods? (drug, statistics)

Windsor Ct has a black majority, low crime rate and a thriving upper middle class. I'm sure many of Atlanta and DC suburbs can say the same, but I don't have the data.
I guess you'd have to look at the SES of the neighborhood. Since crime correlates positively with decreasing SES it wouldn't be a surprise. However if you take a high SES Black enclave such as the above poster stated, some in Detroit, D.C. you'd likely find lower crime stats.
It's more an issue of economic status than race.
But I like to see the brighter side of things and break them down to their constituent parts.
Nobody's denying that there are plenty of white meth heads in WVA but post some stats at least.
It's really not that simple, not even close. Statistics covering the last century do not support your conclusion. I don't believe that poverty causes crime, I believe the same thing that causes poverty (which is of course subjective based on environment, so could account for the different ratios throughout history) also causes crime.
