Well for one , why do you think I have little chump change laying around?

For 2 , most of these customers have a whole lot more liabilities then I will ever allow myself to have.
I dont care how much money I will ever make. I will never have an $8,000 mortgage payment.

You don't, and you know that. You assumption entails the idea that it separates them from you. Tell me how much more would a person with an income of $300K pay in taxes under Clinton rates compared to Bush.

.

Why do you consider someone who is paying $100,000 in taxes as " getting away scott free"?

Not being an azz , just trying to see where your coming from.

Because you talk like it (and are applying to the rich, nonetheless). Tell me how much more would a person with an income of $300K pay in taxes under Clinton rates compared to Bush.

Of course its incorrect. Without knowing what one payed in state taxes , prop taxes , mort interest , child care ect , one could not possibly do anything but guess.

I agree, the pain will have to be spread, but the guidelines are there. Save social security and medicare, cut defense, and raise taxes on the wealthy.

If you did three of the four, and said "look everyone will have to pitch in, the rich will pitch in more, but everyone will have to give some", then I think most Americans would accept that. But Republicans refuse to even mention the word tax increase, even a net tax increase by closing loopholes. They want it all through cuts, but not defense. Democrats don't want to raise taxes on the poor and middle class, but that seems like its going to have to be done at least some.

Both parties are in the wrong here, and the sooner people realize that, the better.

The message is clear.
Republicans in the super committee offered a tax increase, but it was rejected - FYI.

I don't want to change things just so someone can pitch more in. I just want regulations that apply evenly across the board.

Another FYI - there are no real cuts - only reductions in growth. Spending HAS to be cut for any real help to reduce debt.
